Post by manuels »

Hi Support Team and community.

I read in the FAQ how to making PDF forms with Word 2003.

But I'm not able to create a form with Word 2007?

May you can give me a hint how to start creating forms with Word 2007

Best regards

Hi,

I am afraid Office 2007 does not offer this functionality - so you would need to create the form in Office 2003 and then you could convert in either 2003 or 2007.

Thanks for the answer. Unfortunately I have no licence for Office 2003.

I will use Open Office with the integrated PDF export function.

Will this ever be available for word 2007 or word 2010?
I'm currently on Office 2010 but also here no way to create webforms.

Unless MS choose to resolve the issues in Office - then I am afraid it remains an issue for us, Web forms designed in Office 2003 or earlier will generate a correct form though - even in later versions.

However - we are working on a totally independant Forms Creation tool for release later this year and that will prove a better resolution than relying on any 3rd party products I believe.

I can tell you that the webtools are not available in word 2010. I think MS is centralizing Web in infopath. Would the PDF creater work in infopath?

I agree that in this case, creating an independent tool, makes sense.
Will this be a complete seperate software to buy or will it get included in PDF-Change PRO 4?

Hi,

no decision as to pricing and bundling has yet been made - all I can say is that it will not be part of the FREE viewer.

Also I am afraid it will not work in infopath.

Hi Manuels,
I am also using office 2007 but it has not any inbuilt facility to convert doc to pdf.
So either you have to download add-inn for that or you can convert from any online site.
These are solution i have for your problem.

Hi all,
I don't know how I can remove the addition space between the text in the pdf file after converting from doc file?
And when i am converting doc file to pdf file the watermark is not there. So what should be the problem?
Thanks in advance.
