:?: How to Convert Website to PDF
Is it possible to convert a webpage into at pdf file? If it is, can I just convert parts of the webpage not the whole thing? (It's a forum thread)

Hi zigsta,
Thank you for your post and welcome to the forum!
Yes, it is possible to convert a Web page into .pdf format. We advice you to use our PDF-XChange Addin for Internet Explorer for this purpose. There is an option from the Addin that allows you to convert just a selection of the current page instead of the entire page.
Thanks.
Sincerely,
Thank you for your post and welcome to the forum!

I just would like to ask if there are PDF-XChange Addin available for other browsers, e.g. chrome, rockmelt, mozilla?

Hello edgarcia,
For now our Add-in is only available for Internet Explorer, but we are considering adding support for other browses in the future as well.
DensiaV - glad that you find this useful.
Best,
Stefan

Re: :?: How to Convert Website to PDF
Has the addin for Mozilla/Firefox addin been developed yet?
Presently I am using another parties "Print Pages to PDF" addin but it has a LOT of shortcomings.
By default it dumps web-PDFs into "C:\Users" on my SSD drive ... not where I want it!
Thank you

Re: :?: How to Convert Website to PDF
Hi bawldiggle,
Thanks for the post - I'm afraid that not add-in has yet been developed for Firefox or Chrome, but you should find that either our Lite or Standard print drivers are capable of producing good PDF's in most instances, in these browsers.
As far as I'm aware, we're still looking at adding this, but I'm afraid it's still a little ways off, as the Editor is still our primary focus at the moment, then we will be looking at overhauling PDF-Tools.
Cheers,

- Do the Tracker printer drivers successfully reproduce links ?
- Is "most instances" indicative of "shakey" links in some PDFs of web pages ?
- Just investigated "Lite" and "Standard". Is there a comparison table?
What's in and what is out is not clearly obvious ... particularly "Standard" - Do Lite + Standard integrate with new "Editor" or are they standalone apps. ?

Re: :?: How to Convert Website to PDF
Hi bawldiggle,
https://www.pdf-xchange.com/pdf-xch ... ison-chart
PDF-XChange Standard is actually really a bundle of Office2PDF5, the PDF-XChange Printer 2012 and pdfSaver5, but it doesn't come integrated with the Editor.
Hope that helps!
I believe that PDF-XChange Standard (installed as PDF-XChange Printer 2012) should preserve these links, but Lite won't. This is by design.Do the Tracker printer drivers successfully reproduce links ?
It's extremely difficult to pinpoint what pages won't convert well and why, but in those instances, we suggest either trying a different browser or using the Office Add-in. Failing that, we would then need to take a closer look to see what, if anything, we could do to help.Is "most instances" indicative of "shakey" links in some PDFs of web pages ?
Here's a link to the Product Feature Comparison Chart:Just investigated "Lite" and "Standard". Is there a comparison table?

Hopefully I've understood right here, but I believe that you're asking whether or not a printer is automatically installed when installing the Editor? Currently, Lite is a standalone application and must be installed separately to the Editor, but an Editor serial key/license key will also license Lite.Do Lite + Standard integrate with new "Editor" or are they standalone apps. ?
