Making the pointer easy to see

Hello,

I like to scribble during presentation. But after selecting the Pencil Tool, it is very hard to find where the cursor is. Is it possible to keep the cursor visible as a "laser pointer" (the way it is possible in Microsoft power point) and to switch to Pencil Tool after placing the cursor at the correct starting position for the scribbling? Or maybe, after selecting the Pencil Tool, pointer automatically becomes a laser pointer and converts to cross-hair only when left mouse button is pressed? I searched for "laser" in the XChange pdf documentation and in the knowledge base, but did not find any matches.

In build 312 pencil tool will use a cursor similar to one in Windows Painter in pencil mode.

FYI, on a related topic. I just posted a feature enhancement idea in the Pencil Tool thread. It asks if the pencil can have a property that allows for the icon to be switched manually between pencil (like Editor) and cross hairs (like Viewer), or automatically switched based on input (mouse, stylus, touch).
