Hi again,
I switched to the new version 312.1
Previously I had defined a few custom scanner settings as simplex, duplex, JBIG or MRC-kompression.
When using these settings after an upgrade, the scanning results are not the same.
The pages get resized. A DIN-A4 paper ist not recognized anymore and the pictures are smaller with a lot of white space around.
And also the duplex setting is ignored. My old preset with duplex (hardware) only scan the front pages.
I did not change the scanner drivers and other Software scans well as before.
With every update of PDF-XChange Editor, there are new bugs.
This is a little annoying.
How about stabilizing your software instead of creating new features as these scanning presets and corrupting the things that worked well.

Thank you for the post. Could please post the make and model of scanner you are using? Could you also please make sure that you are using the latest drivers?

of course, I use an Brother Scanner, model ADS-1100W
I also reinstalled the newest drivers from the website and the firmware is updated.
But to repeat my concern.
I used the same scanner with the previous Version of PDFXchange without problems.
And the scanner works well with other programs.
So I think it is an issue with this release.
btw: Why are only the WIA-Drivers useable in PDFX.
Other Programs also offer the twain drivers.

Thanks for the info. - I'll have to speak with the Dev. Team about our options here, as troubleshooting scanner issues usually requires a remote session with a special debug build.
As for the use of TWAIN drivers, these are usually 32-bit and 64-bit applications cannot work with 32-bit scanner drivers. If you have the 64-bit Editor installed, this would be why.

Thanks for your hint with the 32-bit only drivers.
I just installed the 32-bit Version of PDFXChange. And you are right, now I can use all TWAIN-Scanners.
But the result is the same, the images get smaller than the Original..
