left-above corner of XChangeEditor ...
Hello
With XChangeEditor I read an Ebook named "Johnson - TopDown Parsing.pdf".
But at left-above corner of XChangeEditor I see "CS106XHandout #01" instead of the filename.
See the attachment.
Can I have the real filename instead? .. so I know what file I read at the moment ...
How? What should I do?
Thank you.

Hi dxcarnadi,
Thanks for the post - I've not seen that before. Can you please send the file itself?
Thanks,

Hi dxcarnadi,
Thanks for that - this happens because the document has been given a title. If you'd prefer to see the filename, you can remove the title under File --> Document Properties --> Description.
HTH!

I don't want to remove the document title, but I would like the filename to be what is displayed on the Windows Title bar.
Is there any setting to make this happen?

Hi leishirsute,
This can be done via Ctrl + D --> Initial View --> Window --> Show In Title --> Filename.

Re: left-above corner of XChangeEditor ...
By default it is the filename that is selected at the creation of a new PDF.
It is up to the owner of the PDF to change this to the document title if he/she prefers this.
The same goes about opening a PDF on a particular page.
By default it opens at page number 1. The owner can change this behavior to open on whatever other page in the PDF.
Normally, every PDF reader- or editor-application, should respect these choices.
I do not know if Tracker Software would consider an option to ignore the users' choice for showing the documents' title?
If yes, then it should probably become part of Edit > Preferences > Page Display
For what concerns the "Open to page" parameter, there is still a topic running:

Best regards.

Hi guys,
I'm not sure that this is something we can/would implement. I'll pass along the suggestion, but can't make any guarantees.
Thanks,
