Bookmarks unchangeable - Why?

I downloaded this Manual.
I want to change its bookmarks. See attachment.
It is impossible. Why? Can you change it?

Hello dxcarnadi,

If you look into the Document's Properties you would find this:

The Document's modification is prohibited thus you can't modify the bookmarks.

I just opened @thedxcarnadi's pdf-file and PDFX-Change instantly(!) gave me the option to make a copy of the file with the option "Save As Not Restricted".
When I did so everything that was disallowed became editable.
I am still using v6 / Build 321.0

Yes, there is a feature like that, though note that it will change the file behavior in Acrobat.

Thank you .. your input reminded me to an allround-trick.
The extract-pages behaves kindly.
Now I can change its bookmarks. See attachment.

yes that seems to work.You are lucky that your document has no password security and extraction of pages is allowed.
