CHANGE MULTIPLE PAGES PDF ON ONE PAGE TO SINGLE PAGES

Hey Guys, Not a new thing to me. Got another pdf downloaded that has 2 pages but they contain 12 original documents pages (1 pdf pg = 6 orig pgs). I simply want to make these 12 doc original pages available for copy to print in my Oo Open Office program, or just print each original page straight from the pdf itself.

Other like options may be available but I just dunno. Thanks bunches guys, Jim

Hi Jim,

You can best try the "split pages" feature, via the Document-menu > More for Pages > Split Pages...

In the Split Pages dialog box, on top of the preview pane, you have icons/buttons to "Add horizontal split" and/or "Add vertical split".

Each time you add such a dotted 'split' line, you can move it via drag-and-drop to the right place, on the preview itself.
In this way you can insert multiple lines to finally split one page into six new pages.

I hope this will help you further.

Troubles in which way?

- Do you not find the split feature
- Do you find the feature, but does it not work
- It is possible to post a sample file

Without more information it is really difficult to help.

And, please be sure to try with the latest version of PDF-XChange Editor 6.0.322.4

Ok, just split every last file in each pdf document. That worked. Otherwise odd sizes and gibberish and not all files either. So looks like I have all the files separated. Now need to be able to either copy or change to .doc or .txt format to resize the fonts to be able to read them. How Willy? Jim

Hello Jim

I do not know how you have managed, but I have done a bit of work for you.
When you zoom in to the original document via de Split Pages dialog box, you can easily see the marks where the pages should be cut.
I have used these marks to even cut the borders away.

The resulting PDF is attached to this topic.

You only have to remove the "watermarks" (publicity stamps) via Document > Watermarks > Remove All...
(I hope you have a license for the Editor ?)

I also tried to save as a Word document, but the result is not 100%. So, you can better use the Edit options in PDF-XChange Editor itself.
I even wonder if you really need to edit the resulting PDF. It is perfectly readable.

Hi Jim,

I am a little bit surprised about your new question "How do I print them?".

Well, here we go:
- open the PDF in PDF-XChange Editor
- click File > Print
- in the Print dialog box, on top, first select your destination printer
- then, via the Page Setup button:
- - select the paper size (I suppose you like to print on A4 or Letter format)
- - select the orientation (should be "Portrait")
- - click OK to confirm
- still in the Print dialog box, in the middle, at "Type", do select "Fit to printer margins"
- make sure that NO check boxes are active
- at the bottom, at "Print", make sure that "Document" is selected
- finally, click Print

If everything goes well, your printer should start with printing the PDF-document.

Willy. got the print I needed. On Fx it just printed very small images I could not read in that small font print. So eventually played around and wound up printing full size pages with larger readable font print using Google Chrome.

Made it work bud. Really really appreciate you help. That's for real not just empty talk. Jim
