export to Excel

Post by ketter »

I have Microsoft Office 2010 Standard installed and I am running PDF-XChange Editor Plus 6.0 Build 322.4 (licensed). When I select File, Export, I only see options for Images, PowerPoint, and Word. The Help shows that Excel should also be an option and I have a user requesting it. How do I get the Export to Excel feature?

Thanks!

Hello Ken,

Please update to build 322.5 - as this is the current latest - and let us know if the option is still missing with this one!

Regards,
Stefan

Works now! While setting up my install (I push it out via my mgmt software) I noticed a setting I had changed - which I corrected. So not sure if it was the newer build or the setting change, but all is good now. Thank you!

I have a similar issue. I can see an export to Powerpoint, but not Word or Excel. I am using version 3.16 of Xchange Editor, but cannot upgrade. Can anyone confirm that this is a bug with earlier versions so i can stop banging my head looking for a solution that does not involve upgrading?

Hi Mtroy,
Sorry to be the bearer of bad news, but as you fear this is a bug with that version. While i know you cant update from that version directly as the updater has a bug, you can uninstall it and download the next version your license will allow.

Hope this works!
