Hello HomerWu,

This is not a feature included in general in the PDF specification, but you should be able to do it with e.g. a third party security tool like FileOpen.
Both we and Adobe support this security handler, and with it you can specify validity periods. It is free to use by the end users - but for you as the person securing the files there is a fee. You will need to contact FileOpen for any specific quoted depending on the volume of files you need to secure in that way.

Stefan

Hello HomerWu,

Apologies - didn't notice this is in the SDK section and answered as if you had the end user Editor.
I am not sure it is possible with just digital signatures. Even if we respect such a feature - it is not in the PDF specification, so just opening the file with another PDF tool would circumvent the type of security you suggest.

Regards,
Stefan
