Eraser option

Post by didierurban »

Hello,

Is it possible to add in tools an eraser option (icon), just drawing a white (white borders) rect.

You can draw a rectange and define fill color for it (press right button on newly created rectangle, and choose Properties from the context menu).

yes, i agree 100% :!:

To have an eraser button would be the most handy, intuitive way.

Yes it may be intuitive - but it would also be somewhat 'deceptive' as it is not a genuine 'eraser' button - really it is just covering the content and if the user prints without ensuring that the Viewer (ours or Adobe's etc) is also printing 'comments and markup's (see the print dialog) then the original content will be printed - not the new text/content.

So until a genuine 'redactive' function is available I dont think this would be a good choice.
