How to clear image fields?

Hello,

I have created a PDF file with form fields, including an image field.
When I fill out the form, I can insert an image into the image field, but I haven't found a way to clear the field.

In Adobe Reader there is a "Clear" button in the corresponding dialog.

A quick followup, it seems that there is an option I was unaware of, hidden in the properties menu which allows this at the moment. I have asked that we include this action when clicking on the field normally as well, but at least now you have a solution!
Simply, click the "select fields" tool, then choose the field in question. Open the properties (with Ctrl_~) and then click the ellipsis menu on the "up icon":

Hi all,

To me it seems like "Remove icon" in PDF-XChange Editor is not quite the same as "Clear Image" in Adobe Acrobat Reader.

After removing the icon in PDF-XChange Editor, the status of "Up Icon" in the Properties changes to <Not Set> instead of <None>.

Once the icon has been removed in PDF-XChange Editor, the image field does not work correctly anymore.
Selecting another image has not result anymore, the field stays and shows empty.

So, a real "Clear Image"-button in PDF-XChange Editor might be needed.

Strangely, it does seems that the clear image function is changing the field "layout" from icon only, to "label only"... The field import function still works, but the layout change means you cannot see the changes anymore...

I will need to speak with the dev team on this, it smells like a bug to me. But yes, I do agree that we definitely need a button to "clear icon" in the filling functions, not just the form editing functions.
