Certain fonts cause inconsistent line spacing for automatically wrapped items in bulleted lists

Hello all,

I have discovered that the bulleted list appears incorrectly under certain circumstances. Specifically, the spacing between the first line of a bulleted item and the automatically wrapped second line is different from the spacing between other lines of the same item when the following three conditions are met

• A bulleted list is set up.
• An item is so long that it automatically wraps and spans multiple lines.
• A specific font is set, such as MS Gothic.

Note the different heights of the red and yellow-green areas in the figure below. Depending on the font, some may be longer and some may be shorter.

I am by no means pointing out the spacing between the first and second items (the spacing between XXXX and YYYY in the figure below).

While this issue occurs in most Japanese fonts, it does not appear to occur in Latin fonts. For reference, here is an example of the following three fonts

• Arial
• MS Gothic
• MingLiU-ExtB

In the case of Arial, all items in the list are displayed with the correct spacing. However, in the case of MS Gothic, only the spacing between the first and second line of each item is displayed longer. Conversely, in the case of MingLiU-ExtB, it is displayed shorter.

As you can see from the actual screen display in Japanese below, the odd spacing between the first and second lines of each item is quite noticeable.

Of the fonts that are initially installed in the English version of Windows 10, the following fonts visibly cause line spacing problems.

• Microsoft Himalaya
• MingLiU-ExtB
• MingLiU-HKSCS-ExtB
• Mongolian Baiti
• MS Gothic
• MS PGothic
• MS UI Gothic
• PMingLiU-ExtB
