PDF-Tools "Stop" Batch Process Mode can result in Destroyed Save of 0 Bytes

PDF-Tools > and pressing "Stop" (processing during long) "Batch Process Mode" CAN result in effectively deleting PDF file with the "When file already exists" = "Overwrite with a new file". There is no error reported or otherwise indicator the file has been damaged, other than reviewing the entire 'process' list of affected files for a 0 Byte file (this is where the "Stop" process occurred. I would not expect that an existing valid file would be destroyed with zero output. Frankly, once the file writing has started a "Stop" by the end-user should finish that current task or restore the original file (rename or otherwise). This concern has existed for sometime and I've just now discovered more than a few files lost to time.

Is it possible that you have the following option enabled for that tool?

I expect that this issue is related to a bug re very recently discovered with the "delete on success" option. If you can export a copy of your tool for use to investigate over here, it would help us to verify and reproduce your issue. You can export a tool by right clicking on it, and choosing the "export tool" option presented there.
