When I run a search for an exact phrase in a folder that contains 3,200 PDF documents with a total size of 101.5 GB in its subfolders, the PDF-XChange Editor (Plus 10.2.1, build 385 Enhanced OCR) application window disappears after a while of operation. If I re-launch the PDF-XChange Editor and open the search window, its fields display values prior to those used for the last search.
At the time of starting the search, the computer has more than 23 GB of free RAM and approximately 200+ GB of disk space available with a swap file and temporary files.

Have you noticed whether the RAM gets used up while the Editor performs the search on these files?
Can you also please confirm you are using the current latest build?

drive.google.com/file/d/1jQLI230y9m-Ze6xMU6V-2_xzRjnpFCyF/view (3 MB) — an hour-long video sped up to 28 seconds showing the search box and the Process Manager RAM tab. The application crashes at the beginning of the second hour of searching. Analyzed files are retouched.
