1) "Replace fonts" affects both, base content and comments. Unfortunately, I see no way to make a distinction between these two.

2) "Replace fonts" can be set to only affect certain pages.

Let's consider that a suggestion to be able to toggle on/off comments (annotations) and base content, to only change one of the two or both.

Hello MedBooster,

This does sound like an useful option to have, so I have forwarded this as a Feature Request to the development teams.
Lets see what they have to say about this.

Once I have their feedback I will update this post.
Best regards,
Jordan

Request for an additional option:

In the "Replace Fonts" dialog-box, you have a button "Add from Selection".
So, would it be possible to only apply the modification(s) to that selection too ?
At this moment, you can only limit the changes to one or more specific pages.
Think about a random selection of annotations or paragraphs in the base content (when in Edit Text mode).

Thanks for the consideration.

Hello, Willy Van Nuffel

I don't know that I understand the purpose of this request. If you want to apply changes to the selected text only, there is no need to use this tool in the first place, simply look to the Format tab, or the properties pane, and make the desired changes directly.

I was thinking about selecting multiple (non-consecutive) comments or paragraphs (separate Page Content items), and then change their text-color.

Indeed, for base-content-text, while in Edit Text mode, you can select multiple paragraphs at random and change their text color via "Fill Color" in the Text Tools > Format tab. So, let's forget about that.

But, for comments, like Typewriter or Textbox, you can select several of them in the main window or in the Comments-pane, but there is no way to change their text color. Except via Style Tools > Apply Default Text Format, but there you only have the default color.

Kind regards.

Hello, Willy Van Nuffel

Ahh, in that case, you will be happy to hear that we do plan to allow access to the text formatting properties of comments while the container is selected, in the future. While it may be limited to "alike comment types" or only show properties that are available to all of the selected items, it should serve this purpose once that is ready.
