Save open document
Hello, I would like to save the open documents, so that I can reopen them at once, is this possible?

Re: Save open document SOLVED
Hi, Mirada2000
we have "session" that can be saved and loaded:
You can open the wanted documents, save the session then in future you open the session to get all those files again.
Does that help?
Kind regards,
Paul - Tracker Supp

Re: Save open document
When you start PDF-XChange Editor, there is an option "Restore Last Session" to open the documents that were open at the time you last closed PDF-XChange Editor. This option is available via File > Preferences > Documents.

Wouldn't it be a good idea to add (duplicate) this option to the "Manage Sessions"-dialog-box, because now it is a little bit hidden ?
Kind regards.

Re: Save open document
Hello Willy Van Nuffel,
That checkbox has been there long before the other sessions manager was added to the File Menu, so it has been there for a very long time, and might even use slightly different code.
I will pass your enquiry to our UI devs and see if that can indeed be added as a checkbox under the new Sessions menu!
p.s. My colleagues confirmed that it's a good idea to have a copy of that checkbox in the sessions manager screen - so I've made the FR ticket for this:
#6786: FR: Add checkbox to "Restore Last Session when application starts" to the sessions management screen.
Kind regards,
Stefan

Re: Save open document
Hello Willy, Mirada2000,
Just a quick update that the ticket has now been marked as resolved - so this checkbox should be in the sessions menu from the next build. I do not have the exact release date yet.
Kind regards,
Stefan
