Pin a stamp

Post by Evie »

Hi,

I was personalising shortcuts and I want to make a shortcut to a stamp. So my question is if it is possible to make a shortcut to a specific stamp, so not the stamp overview but for a specific stamp?

If that is not possible I have another question. I have made a custom stamp, but it is at the bottom of the stamp palette. So I would like to know if it is possible to pin a stamp to the top of the stamp palette? If yes, how do I do that?

Best regards,
Evie

Hello, Evie

At the moment it is not possible to do either. The best I can offer is that the "customize UI" menu (right click any blank space in the toolbars) allows you to place a copy of the stamps palette itself wherever you need it on the UI, and the stamps palette will remember the last used stamp, as well as category "open/collapsed" state, so you can close the headers for each category in the palette, to have easy access to those near the bottom:

Hi,

Thank you for clearing that up. Unfortunately, I don't fully understand how I can place that stamp palette in the UI. Can you show me how to do that?

Best regards,
Evie

- right click on whatever toolbar
- click "Customize Toolbars" (at the bottom of the menu)
- in the "Customize Toolbars"-dialog-box, click the "Commands"-tab
- in the list with commands, look for the "Stamps"-command
- click the "Stamps"-command and drag it to the place in the toolbar that you prefer
- click the "Close"-button in the "Customize Toolbars"-dialog-box

That should be it.

Does that help?

Kind regards.
