Hello,
I use "OCR_LoadW". Where can I set the password for open the PDF?
In the help file I read a "beta only limit": Note: In this beta release we do not support password protected documents. A workaround is to save them as unprotected and then perform OCR. Our next release will provide support for this.
I think with "our next release" you mean the final version, or is this limit still in the final version?
How can I open password protected PDFs for OCR?

Sorry, the use of the word "beta" is a mistake in the manual (which was written back when we only had an internal beta). This is not a beta release, this is a true release. However we do not support passworded documents at the moment. You will have to remove the password (e.g. with the other SDK). We will incorporate the ability to access protected documents in version 5 of the SDK.

Hello Kristine,
You have posted in a developer topic, but maybe you want to achieve this using our stand alone PDF XChange Viewer?
You will need to know the user password to open the document, or the author password if you want to allow changed to be made to the PDF - as you would need that permission before you can OCR the file and add the new text layer in it. Then once you have the OCRed document - you can export that to Word using our PDF Tools product.
Best,
Stefan
