Hello Tracker,

We are using printer product build number 5.0.272. Attached pdf will remove numbers from some page when printing it to the pdf printer. Please print page 9 form the attached file using printer 5.0.272 to see an example. How can we correct this behavior?

Personally, I do not see an immediate difference between the original page 9 (numbered as "7") and the re-printed version via PDF-XChange Standard V6 printer.

Can you please post your own re-printed version?

Could you please post the file before and after printing to PDF that clearly shows the issue? When printing page 9 on the file you have posted, it is still labelled on the page as "7".

Attached pdf has two pages. Page 1 is before picture and page 2 is after..

You will notice digits are missing after print on page 2.

Same issue happened when printed using PDF-XChange Standard V6.pdf.

I have fixed the issue. As a temporary workaround, if you print this PDF from the PDF-XChange Editor, you can set the option "Text Rendering Option" to "Outline for Embedded Fonts". You can find this option on Advanced Print Options dialog when you press "More..." button on the editor's Print dialog.

So, nobody has to be afraid that this problem can happen when printing to "PDF-XChange Standard V6" from within an other application?

yes the issue was in the printer and the work around in the Editor. It is my understanding that the PDF was printed from the Editor to the driver and it was at that point that the characters were truncated. Printing from the Editor with the option "Text Rendering Option" to "Outline for Embedded Fonts" should stop that.

Is that correct docu=track99? You were reprinting the PDF from the Editor to the PDF-XChange driver. Right?

The driver issue was fixed as Ivan mentioned and will be available in 320. We do not have a release date for 320 yet. Definitely in the new year.
