PDF XChange Forum

I've used PDF-XChange Viewer for a while and the text box has always appeared as a rectangle roughly the height of 1 line of text.

About 2 weeks ago, I must have done something unknowingly because the text box now only appears as a square (more or less) about the height of roughly 4 lines. If I'm reading the manual correctly, I should be able to right click in the middle to get something that will allow me to re-size/re-shape the text box but I've tried that many times without success.

Is there any way back to the rectangle?

Thank you for the post and welcome to our forums. This is not something we have seen before. Using the textbox, unless you click and drag, or later resize it, it will be a rectangle equal in height to 1 line:


The Typewriter should look similar:


please go to Edit> Reset Settings and see if that helps.
