Hello,

We are trying PDF-XChange Editor for implemanting it in all our computer (250) but our tests don't let us suppress an area on all layers of a file.
We are an employement agency and we need to suppress some information in the CV we send to our clients. We need to suppress all personnal information of the applicant.

Our documents are PDF with OCR informations and we need to completely delete the informations.

Thanks

Hi Dudu,

Thanks for the post - I'm not entirely sure that I understand the problem. Please take a look at the Edit Content tool and Redaction tool and, if neither meets your needs, can you take us through what you need step-by-step?

Thanks,

Hi Will,

I think you will understand with the file in attachment.

you can see that it add 3 layers in it. We need to completely suppress the identity of the applicant.

Thanks.

Hi dudu,

Thanks for that - I would recommend that you use the Redaction tool, as per my previous post. This will completely erase the information from the document such that it cannot be recovered.

Thanks,

Hi Will,

Good job, this is what we need.

Extra question, how can we set the default color to white, not black.

Thanks

Hi dudu,

Please see the KB article from my previous post on Redaction. It will take you through how to use it:
Once an option is set, it will be remembered between sessions. Also, when you have marked an area for redaction, before applying it, you can right click and set that appearance as default:

Thanks,
