SDK Capabilities

Post by Howard Brown »

We are looking at replacing our current PDF Viewer technology. The Tracker Viewer SDK does not have all of the required methods and properties to configure the Viewer the way we would like to for integration into our product. Does the PDF SDK Toolkit essentially have enough capabilites to build a new PDF Viewer from scratch using your basic Viewer SDK? In other words, could you use your PDF SDK Toolkit and the Viewer SDK to build the complete PDF-Exchange Viewer?

Thanks.

Which ever one you would recommend that would provide the most capability.

Different SDKs are for different purposes.
If you want just to draw (rasterize) existing PDF - I think simple SKD will be enough.
Using ActiveX you can embedd PDF-XChange viewer into your application and will have all features which the viewer has.

In any case you can download trial versions and try.
