Never mind this seems to already be the case! When hovering my Lenovo stylus now I am getting the pop-up

Maybe it depends on the tool selected

Yes - it is possible that if you have selected a tool that would e.g. add a distance measurement - then hovering over won't trigger the pop-up. I do not have a stylus to test with - however for me it seems like hovering over with the mouse over an object (even with e.g. the distance tool selected) still shows me the tooltip for the object I am hovering over.
Can you please test a bit more on your end and try to pinpoint the conditions when it is not shown for you?

along with hovering the stylus to reveal hidden text it wouldalsi be cool to have a stamp preview etc... as you have when using a mouse or touchpad

If you have the options to "show visual effects" OR "Show cursor" enabled in the stylus options for windows, than our Editor does already show previews for any of the comments on mouse hover, including stamps.
