Sudden crashes

Hi,

we've some systems, where the PDFXCview crashes suddenly.

Usually this happens after saving, when the Save Button does not get disabled (looks like save doesn't really finish ?).
In that situation, the Viewer crashes with every operation (even something like changing window size).

We've dumps available, they show a crash in PDFXCview.exe because of a access violation accessing address 0000000000000008.

Hello Uwe,

I am afraid that the Viewer is no longer developed and as such there will be no future fixes and/or updates for it.

If you are not using the last version of the Viewer, I would advise to try updating it and check if the same issue persists. If you are already using the last version of the Viewer - my advise is to use the Editor instead.

okay, that's exactly, what I told the customer, too.

Unfortunately, sometimes it's hard to motivate users to move away from the product, they're used to .
We'll keep on trying...
