New to PDF X-Change PRO 4
I can get the converter to make bookmarks, but i loose my revision markups in MS Woid 2007. I have colors, strikeouts, and rev bars. all are gone when it converts using the MS Woid toolbar. When i convert using the print menu, i get the rev bars, but no bookmarks.

thanks for the help

Attached is an MS Woid file (2007) and two pdfs. one pdf was created using the toolbar menu and one was created using the print menu. I cannot create bookmarks using the print menu, and I cannot show tracked changes using the toolbarmenu.

thanks
for the help.

Thanks for the files - we are investigating.

Please note - unless you use the method based on the type style when using 'File -Print' - you will not get automated Bookmarks created - these require manual setup by you - see the help file for more info.

When using the Toolbar Icons the specail Office Addin generates correctly bookmarks as you have found - so this is not a bug.

The other issue I have asked our MS Office specailist to investigate and report back.

Thanks for your patience.

I appreciate the reply and i look forward to the "other issue" being resolved.

The method using the type style is insufficiently flexible in a complex document. Several headers and captions may be bold or italic and these are not always desired as bookmarks. If X-Change 4.0 could recognize MS Word style levels ...... (Somehow it seems to work fine when the conversion occurs from the toolbar menu).

Oh well, if you can get the track changes working from the toolbar menu like it does from the print menu, that would be great. thanks for the help.

I still cannot get both redline changes and book marks to appear. the update sent out previously doesn't work. here is a zipped ms word file with two converted pdf files.
If i print to pdf using the print menu i get the redline changes but no bookmarks, if i convert to pdf using the pdf x-change menu, i can get bookmarks but no redlines. it appears in this mode to automatically change it to the fina verson instead of final shoing markups.

thanks
