How do I create custom short cut keys for commonly used tool bar commands?
It's easy to create your own short cut keys for most tool bar commands:
1) Right click an empty place on any tool bar and select 'Customize...' to bring up the 'Customize' dialogue box.
![]()
2) On the 'Commands' tab select the category on the left panel and the command on the right that you wish to modify and click "Properties" to open the Command Properties dialogue box.
![]()
3) Use the 'Keys' text field to enter the key combinations you want to assign to the command. Conflicts with existing shortcuts are automatically checked for and you are warned if there is one. The red X will clear the input field and the blue arrow will revert to the value last saved.
Click OK to save this short cut.
