How do I export data from a form?

Knowledge Base Article: KB261 - Created On: Apr 15, 2010 11:09 AM - Last Modified: May 2, 2012 06:23 AM

Symptoms

I need the data that is in a form separate from the PDF.

Cause

Form data is by default stored as a part of the PDF document.

Resolution

Use PDF-XChange Viewer Pro to export the form field data.

Open the form and enter the data.  Go to

File --> Form Data --> Export Data from Form.

ExportDataFromForm

This feature can also be i=used to  import data into a form.  It is important to know that when importing Form Data the Field names in the data and the form must of course be the same.
