How do I enter my serial number?
The simplest way to ensure your serial number is entered correctly is to uninstall all you have installed, restart your system - download the latest release from our downloads page and run the installer provided.
Once the installer is nearing completion you will be asked to enter your registration/licensing info - the last entry field is usually the one where your serial number should be copied from your receipt emailed to you at the time of your purchase - and pasted into the entry field.
The most common causes of problems with licensed use are :
1: You have typed your serial number incorrectly into the entry field.
Copy/paste the serial number in to the installer from your receipt - don't type it !
2: You have downloaded the wrong install file
Check the description of the product on your receipt and ensure you uninstall any previously installed product you are not specifically licensed for of a similar name and ensure you download the correct product from our web site download pages.
3: You have purchased the wrong product mistakenly and do not realize this - for example, often users buy the PDF-XChange Viewer PRO when they intended to buy PDF-XChange Pro. The Viewer PRO is not intended for the creation of New PDF files primarily (e.g. from MS Office/AutoCAD etc) - but for modifying/Manipulating existing PDF files or scanning pages to a new/existing PDF file.

You are trying to remove the evaluation watermarks applied to a file created with a demo version once buying a license for the required product.
The only way to resolve this is to go back to step one and recreate the file again from the original source material - it is not possible to remove watermarks once added to a file using the demo version.
