As with our award winning PDF-XChange PDF software, the latest addition to our product range installs onto your system as a 'Virtual' printer allowing you to 'print' your document/Image from any Windows application to any of the industry standard Raster format's supported (see below) - rather than paper. For example from MS Word - simply create your document, select 'File -> Print -> Select Raster-XChange' printer and adjust the printer options to the desired output format etc (i.e. TIFF) and print - your document will be saved to a fully compatible industry standard CCIT grp 3/4 compressed multi page TIFF file if that is your need, or any other availble supported output flavour and format. Raster-XChange is available as a Local or Server Edition, see features below for details |
Raster-XChange offers support for all Windows 32/64 bit operating systems from Windows 2000 through to the later 64 bit XP, Vista, and Windows 7 operating systems and is fully Terminal Server and Citrix Metaframe compatible (subject to satisfactory Licensing) and can also be installed as a shared 'server' printer device without any specail installation on connected client PC's and workstations - simply 'attach' to the Shared printer.
Raster-XChange allows you to convert anything you send to you printer to your choice of 15 graphics raster formats including Imaging correction settings.
Raster-XChange allows users to add Custom Forms to their resulting image files.
The Raste-XChange save settings default is to 'Ask for filename ...' when installing - but if you change this you can define your own default path and filename (this will copy over the file after each print - or append to the file if the append switch is set on).
Raster-XChange allows users to send created image files directly after creation to specified address, either by lauching or sending through the default email client or directly through a specified SMTP server.
