The Coronavirus Outbreak, Remote Working and Corporate Licenses

The COVID-19 coronavirus outbreak has resulted in extraordinary times and unprecedented demands being made on all business owners, managers and staff. The length and severity of the outbreak, both for the individuals and businesses affected, is currently unclear and difficult to predict with any degree of certainty. Tracker Software have decided to do what we can in order to ease the problems that all corporate and business users are facing with regard to their staff making the transition from working in the office to working remotely, as we are aware that this transition may not be a simple one - especially for smaller companies. Therefore we have made the decision to extend the range of our clients' licenses from being strictly permitted on the business owner's equipment to being additionally permitted on the personal equipment of their staff at home. The following conditions are applicable:   

1. Clients must not exceed the numbers permitted by their license. For example, if they have a 1000-user license then only total of 1000 users may use our products. If additional licenses are required then they must be purchased.

2. Once the COVID-19 coronavirus crisis has passed, all installations on the home machines of staff must be uninstalled. The licensee must take the responsibility to ensure that staff comply with this condition.

This license extension is effective immediately and will remain in place until July 31st, 2020 - at which point we will reassess the situation. This means that, as things stand, all 'home installations' must be uninstalled no later than August 31st, 2020 - unless we agree to extend the deadline prior to that date.

During the COVID-19 coronavirus outbreak, Tracker Software may have no other option but to relocate staff to fulfill their duties from home rather than from their offices. Therefore, we respectfully ask clients to ensure that their primary means of communication with us, wherever possible, is via email or through our online support forums, rather than via the telephone.
