Re: Firefox 4 occasionally hanging when opening a PDF in browser
Here is my best guess... As an owner of Xchange 4.0, I get the included viewer. Occasionally, I have looked for updates within the viewer itself and not bothered updating Xchange Pro. Version mismatch. Yes. But I never thought much about it. I've had crashing problems on previous versions of Firefox...

I also created a new profile in Firefox4 with no add-ons. The crashing is still there.. so it's unlikely that it has anything to do with conflicts within the add-ons. It's still possible that the plugins Firefox is using may be conflicting... I just don't know... I sent you guys about 15 crash repor...

In all likelihood, it has to do with your other extensions interacting with the Xchange Viewer. I had that problem, as well. Eventually, I created a new, fresh, Firefox profile and the disappearing menus appeared and stayed open... I can't give you any more input than that.. but I'm betting if you c...

You can fix it. Essentially, two things need to be done. The Adobe plugin will need to be disabled in FF.. and the mimetypes.rdf will need to be deleted. FF will then create a new mimetypes.rdf on browser restart, without the Adobe plugin and your Xchange Viewer plugin should work. Read this thread....
