I have some technical drawings in PDF with line thicknesses and some of the lines are so thick they obscure the text.
I can view using easily using the Ctrl-5 to turn off the thickness, but when I print them the line thickness remains.
How can I print the 'thin' lines (i.e. make all lines a single pixel width)
Thanks,
W.

Re: Print - No line thickness
Hello vvilbur,
I am sorry but no - the "Ctrl-5" key is only for on screen, and can not be applied when printing. At print time the actual line thickness has to be used.
Regards,
Stefan

Unfortunate - I was hoping that it could be done via an export feature (i.e. to .png or something).
I will have to resort to taking screen grabs to make the drawings workable I guess.
Thanks for your quick response,
W

Re: Print - No line thickness
Hello vvilbur,
Have you tried the snapshot tool? You can adjust the resolution it will use - and caupture quite a good quality image of your document (with the line thickness turned to single pixel) - and then paste it e.g. as a second page in the same document. Then you can only print that second page - but be wary that printing an image with very thin lines might make them hard to see on paper!
Cheers,
Stefan

Good thinking. Thank you very much.
I can automate that pretty easily too using a clipboard saver.
Cheers!
