Does anyone know how to save a session with this utility? It's called "PDF Session for PDF-XChange Viewer." I'm using PDF-XChange portable 2.5 (322.7).

It looks like it might be a useful utility if I could only figure out how to save sessions. Native "Restore Last Session" is disabled per instructions.
Need help using this PDF Session utility

Re: Need help using this PDF Session utility
Hi Ted,
Thanks for the email - I'm not sure how those screen-shots were taken, but that's not a feature of the Viewer, nor has it ever been. I'd recommend that you take a look at the Editor, as it does offer session management and is also the Viewer's replacement:

Re: Need help using this PDF Session utility
Hey Will, I have PDF-XChange Editor Plus 6.0318.0 but I didn't realize it has session management. I'd like to save multiple different sessions, can you do that with Editor? If so I can't figure out how. Maybe I need to update to a newer version?
Thanks.
Thanks.

Re: Need help using this PDF Session utility
It seems indeed that you will need a newer version.
Managing multiple sessions in PDF-XChange Editor was first introduced with version 6.0.320.0:
https://www.pdf-xchange.com/produc ... #6.0.320.0
Version 6.0.318.0 was released on 13-09-2016.
So if you have a license for that one, including maintenance through 13-09-2017, then I suppose you can best update to the latest 6.0.322.7

Re: Need help using this PDF Session utility
Thanks for that. I looked at the version history but I guess I overlooked it. I got updated but apparently saving a session doesn't save any search results associated with it, that's the main thing I wanted it for.
Oh well, maybe it'll get added down the road sometime.

Re: Need help using this PDF Session utility
Indeed, Advanced Criteria that have been saved with a unique name, do not seem to be saved within a Session in PDF-XChange Editor.
Maybe Tracker Support can record your request for consideration during their next meeting with Tracker Development ?
Best regards.
