Hello everybody,
I use PDF-XChange Viewer a lot for reading scientific papers.
I highlight a lot of sentences, but whenever there is a superscript on a line, I have to highlight the whole line, which is unexpected and unwanted. Since there is a lot of superscripts in those papers, this can happen quite often. I dont know about subscripts.
The text is native and not an OCRed image.
Is there a way to remove this behaviour ?
Thanks

Re: Highlight behaviour when dealing with superscripts
Hello,
Can you please check if you are using the most recent version of PDF-XChange Viewer (2.5.322.7).
https://www.pdf-xchange.com/produc ... nge-viewer
You also have to know that there is no further development for the Viewer.
It has become discontinued and replaced by PDF-XChange Editor (6.0.322.7).
https://www.pdf-xchange.com/produc ... nge-editor
Even though, when executing a test with superscripted text, I am not able to reproduce the problem. Not via the Viewer, nor via the Editor.
Can you please post an example PDF ?
Best regards.

Thanks for the help Willy!
Indeed Anaroyondo - if you can provide us with a sample file that would be most helpful, as the issue might be specific to the files you use, and with a sample we will be able to investigate this in more details.
Regards,
Stefan
