How do I avoid getting certain hyperlinks truncated when using PDF XChange to create PDF file?
Issue:
- Add a hyperlink to a Word or PowerPoint document pointing to URL that contains a #. For example, https://launchpad.support.sap.com/#/notes/1850327.
- Create a PDF file using PDF XChange "Convert to PDF" (I used V6.0.317.0) with option to generate links (which is default)
Symptom:
- The link in generated PDF is truncated. In my example it only points to https://launchpad.support.sap.com/
Question:
Is there a setting I'm missing to include the full URL in the link? Has anyone found a workaround?
Thanks,
Marc
PS: I tried to URLencode the # using %23 which preserves the full URL, but the target website does not like it (see Test.pdf).

Re: How do I avoid getting hyperlinks truncated
Hello Marc,
Could not reproduce the issue with the current latest build (320) - as you can see in the attached files, so can you please try to update to that version yourself and let us know if the problem is still there?
Regards,
Stefan

Hello Stefan,
sorry, for the late reply but I didn't get any notification that some answer had been posted.
Anyway, thanks for the correction and new build. I can confirm that the issue is fixed!
Thanks for the quick turn around (also in the name of thousands of other users at my employer)
