Hello,
on user machine i have installed last drivers https://www.pdf-xchange.com/PDFX5SA_sm.zip. On application directory the are Interop.PXCComLib5.dll and app.exe.
On app running pdfSaver5.exe started, virtual printer is created, properties are set, but after performing "ShellExecute" nothing happens.
On my developer machine there no problems.
Did I forgot something on user pc?
Regards,
edvschu

Re: Application don't work on user machine
Hi edvschu,
Pleased you have resolved - but whenever a developer asks such a question it does prompt us to point out in the 'politest and most respectful' way - that it is a breach of the license terms to enable the driver to print directly from any 3rd party app such as MS Office etc - other than the developers to the SDK driver...
So for example - you can create an app for the purposes of controlling MS Office in the back ground - to allow the creation of PDF's from MS Office documents provided the end user is doing so through your application - MS Office is not being directly used by the end users - for example this could be used to create PDF's for a structured document management system archive etc.
What you cannot do - is create a general purpose PDF creation tool using our driver and then bypassing our end user products - competing with our end user products in such a manger is not permissible.
If you are aware of this and not doing so - then great - but if you are we should discuss the options to avoid being in breach of your T&C's as soon as possible.
Thanks

Re: Application don't work on user machine
Hi John,
manipulation of pdf is provided over temporary printer only by my own application, 3rd Party app don't see printer. In this case, the application is started, convert a pdf to an PDF/A3 and exits. That should be in accordance with the license terms.

So long as your app controls the process that sounds just fine - thank you for confirming ...
