With PDF-XChange Editor, you can open Excel files (and PDF of course).

Once the file is open, you can click the "Edit Form" icon in the Forms toolbar and then use the different objects (radio buttons, check boxes, ...) to create the form.

There is way to automatically recognize objects - that are look-alike form objects - as such.

Was this the answer you expected, or am I wrong?

Hi Willy - thanks for that.

I am not sure what you are getting at here:
There is way to automatically recognize objects - that are look-alike form objects - as such.
perhaps I am missing something... ;-)

Sorry, it seems like the most important word in the sentence ("NO") is missing.

Maybe it sounds better like this:

"Currently, there is NO way to automatically recognize objects that look like form-objects."

Best regards.

Thanks Willy,

This does indeed make much more sense!

So 8fjrode3 - you can do your design in Excel, and then once you generate a PDF file from that - add the form fields with the Editor - just as per Willy's original suggestion!

Cheers,
Stefan
