How to insert an image into an pdf document (as overlay)?

Occasionally I get some pdf forms.

Mostly at the end (last page) of such forms there is a place where I have to sign the contract/order/application.

Ok, I could print out this page, sign it, scan it with a flatbed-scanner and replace the corresponding page in the original file.
Unfortunately this could happen when I am on a travel where I do not have a laser printer or flatbed scanner.
On the other side I have already an (*.bmp/*.png) image with my scanned signature.

So it would be perfect if I could open the original document in PDF XChange editor, jump to the signature spot and insert my prepared signature image.

However I cannot find an "insert image" menu in PDF XChange editor.
Is this possible?

The insert should be smart enough to let me add the signature as an overlay.
That means underlying horizontal lines should shine through.

If not: Could you add this feature in the next release?

Hello Matt,

I believe that the Signatures and Initials is the perfect feature for this kind of operations. You can find it in the Main menu -> Document -> Signatures and Initials.
