Hello -
On retina displays (like my DELL XPS13), the icons in the icon bar in PDFXchange are just about useless as I cannot click them.
I made some code suggestions to the guys over at Greenshot on how to fix this and they were able to add it to their build.
https://greenshot.atlassian.net/browse/FEATURE-758
Any chance you might add this capability in PDF-XChange as well?
Thank you,
David Carta

Re: Icons WAY too small
Hi David,
we are creating a Ribbon Interface that will have icon scaling based on screen resolution. I have confirmed this with the development team today.

Hi @all,
just for the record and for completeness of information, there is a related discussion here
Btw, I hope that not only the Ribbon UI will have scaling capability -- but also the classic toolbar user interface, because not everyone will want to switch to a Ribbon UI.
Cheers

Re: Icons WAY too small
There has been an extensive discussion about XChange scaling issues on high DPI displays already and XChange Editor v7 with Ribbon UI is coming.
I just want to mention that in Windows 7 using 4K display and 200% DPI scaling, XChange Editor GUI arrows that are used to expand or collapse Main toolbar items are too tiny to use.
I'm talking about these GUI arrows:
Here's the ratio between those arrows and other items, like mouse cursor and Close X, minimize buttons:
Will this be addressed in upcoming versions?
Thank you.

Re: Icons WAY too small
Hello all,
I have a pre-release version of the Editor V7.0 - and in it there is a "Switch to touch optimized UI" and in that mode - all menu items do get noticeably bigger. My screen is a 4K one, but the DPI is quite normal (111 dpi) - so I do not use windows scaling, and can't really tell if this scales even further on higher DPI screens, and when Windows Scaling is not at 100%, but I would presume this is the case.
Here's a comparison of this Touch optimized UI option turned off(top) and on(bottom) on my screen: Cheers,
Stefan
