I have just printed a PDF from Editor and it did not print in a satisfactory manner. It is printing correctly from SumatraPDF to the same printer. The file looks okay on screen. I have uploaded it here www.g4dwv.co.uk/tracker. It is the only file there.
The problem was with the fine back lines at the top of each page. Printing from PDFX-Change produced black lines about a centimetre wide, which would obscure the text on some pages. I have not come across this before.
I have double checked this finding and confirm it is correct.
Cheers

Some previous reports about issues while printing lines:
https://www.pdf-xchange.com/forum3 ... 62&t=27440
https://www.pdf-xchange.com/forum3 ... 62&t=24480
https://www.pdf-xchange.com/forum3 ... 35&t=22316
https://www.pdf-xchange.com/forum3 ... 62&t=20674
A work-around - to print the lines correctly - might be to mark the "Print as Image" check box in the "Print" dialog box of PDF-XChange V6.
Best regards.

Re: Printing from PDF-XChange
Hi Will,
Many thanks. I read the article but it does not explain why the same document, printed using the same printer drivers BUT from a different PDF reader does NOT show the thick lines. The only difference in this case is the PDF reader used to print the document.
It is not a big deal, but if it were the fault of the printer drivers all PDF readers should show the same issue. I am just curious from a technical point of view as to what is going on.
With kindest regards

Re: Printing from PDF-XChange SOLVED
Hello Dr Teeth,
Most likely the other printing applications are not using the MM_ANISOTROPIC mode of those drivers - and thus appear unaffected.
The "print as images", and the registry change outlined in the KB article should help resolve the problem.
Regards,
Stefan
