Making radio buttons read only after signed

Post by GSuarez »

Hello,

i am building a checklist format with radio buttons and i found in the signature object properties that you can set selected fields to get marked as "Read Only" once you have signed the document

i dont know what i am doing wrong or if i misunderstood what it means to be "read only" because once i sign the document i can sill change those radio buttons and save the document.

i am attaching the document.

Hello,

I am afraid that this does not appear to be possible with a digital signature, however, you can do this using document security. Please see here for more details: https://www.pdf-xchange.com/knowle ... nge-Editor

I hope this helps!

So, for the time being, what does this "Mark as read only" feature on the signature Object property "When signed" actually do? :?:

Hi GSuarez,

I must apologize as I was mistaken. Please choose this option when signing:

This should effectively make the document "read-only".

I hope this helps!
