Unable to copy/paste form fields between PDFs SOLVED

I can't figure out why I am unable to copy/paste form fields between PDFs. The last time I used PDF-XChange was several months ago, and I could have sworn I was able to do that then. But now it won't work.

I found a post from last year that explained the Edit form feature must be active to copy form fields. I have double-checked that that feature is indeed active on the PDF I am copying from.

Any idea how I can get this to work? It will save me a ton of time.

Hello Elton,

I just tested with a couple of new files - and had no issues copying form fields between them.
Could it be that the target document is security protected? Can you try with a couple clean files as well - and let us know if that works for you?

It was indeed security protected due to being downloaded from email.
