I'm viewing a 50-page document with bookmarks. My preferred view is the entire page on my screen. I went to Edit => Preferences =>Page Display and selected the options that made the most sense to me -- the 2 Restore boxes are checked and the drop downs are "Bookmarks panel and page, Single Page and Fit Page.
When I open my document I see one full page (the view I prefer as my default). When I scroll down, it stays in that view. But when I click on a bookmark, it shifts to a "fit width" view, so I only see the top half of the page. Is there a way to stay in the "fit page" view when I click on a bookmark?

Yes, there is a way:
In Edit => Preferences =>Page Display, just activate the check box "Forbid the change of the current zoom factor, ..." and click OK.
Best regards.
