Open in Application - Windows Metro Apps?

Post by chrisoutwright »

I have a question concerning the Open in Application functionality of the Xchange Editor. It seems that I can only inlcude Desktop Apps, as I would need to include the executable path, which is not worling for Metro Apps (like Drawboard, Xodo etc.).
Is there a way to have PDFs opened by a shortcut to these Metro Apps?
I have tried command line bats, but one cannot include a filepath as argument to these special windows apps https://stackoverflow.com/questions/262 ... mmand-line.
The only option as non coder for me would be to write an bat file to pass the filepath and have it opened by the default pdf reader in windows, which would then bypass linking any direct executable.

Any ideas?
