V7: Word Count icon missing in Classic Toolbars?

Post by Joxon »

The "Word Count" icon seems to be missing in "Classic Toolbars". In "Ribbon UI" it’s under the tab "Review". I know I can make a shortcut for it in Commands but I like an icon too.

How to add the "Word count" icon to one of the classic toolbars:
- switch to Classic Toolbars
- right click on whatever toolbar
- click "Customize toolbars..." (at the very bottom of the shortcut menu)
- click the Commands tab
- at the left, in the column with Categories, scroll to the top of the list and click <All commands>
- at the right, in the column with Commands, scroll down until you see the Word Count icon
- now, drag-and-drop the Word Count icon onto the place in a particular toolbar where you like to insert it
- click Close, to close the Customize Toolbars dialog box

Best regards.
