Version 7.323.0 Addon Tools Menu disappears after opening a PDF

Hi,

Just came across this situation:
I use the new UI and have some Javascripts in my Addon Tools with their own icons.

If I open a PDF via select file, this Addon Tools menu disappears:

This is options menu after disappearing:

Before disappearing:

I use the following options for opening new pdf in a new window:

Any hints?

Edit: switching in this new window from ribbon to classic and back to ribbon the Addon tools are there again ...

Not a real problem as I found the workaround switching UI to classic and back ...
