PDF-Exchange Version 7 killing Windows Defender Updates?

Post by uwe dembski »

On sunday I have installed the new Version of PDF-Exchange Version 7. Now it is impossible for me to load Windows Defender updates, neither manually nor automatic. I don´t know
if the Installation of PDF-Exchange is the reason but it looks like this. This installation was the only installation I did on sunday. I own another machine, this machine hasn´t installed
PDF-Exchange and everythink is working fine.
Both computers have Windows Fall Creator Update 64 bit. Windows update itself is working fine, without windows defender.

Has anyone similar problems?

Hello uwe,
Thank you for your post. I doubt that our installer could cause this. If you uninstall the Editor can you then update Windows Defender? Have you restarted your machine since installing our software? If not, please do so.

Thanks!

Thank you.

Problem solved. Restarting PC was the trick.
