PDF/A-1 creation after OCR
When saving a PDF/A-1b after OCR the file is no longer validated as a valid PDF/A-1b file. However there is no warning of this when saving the file. I was in fact hoping to create a PDF/A-1a file since the text is accessible after OCR. Is this at all possible? Or PDF/A-2a? That would surely further enhance the usability of the viewer, ... and the file of course!

The Viewer was not designed to preserve PDF/A compatibility. Strictly speaking, editing of a file supposed to be created for archiving purposes is not a good idea.
