Form field font display interoperability issue
Is it possible to give an ETA for when a developer build will be available containing a fix for the issue described here: https://www.pdf-xchange.com/forum3 ... 62&t=29033? My app is unusable in production without this fix because all of the fields display and print in a barcode font. If I work around that, the barcode field displays in a standard font. Thanks.

Re: Form field font display interoperability issue
Hello askelly,
Just spoke with the developer who is responsible for this feature - he said that he can tend to it only after two weeks or so. When it will be ready, I will publish a Dev. Build so that you can try this fix.
Cheers,
Alex

Hi,
I just wanted to give this topic a bump to make sure it's not forgotten. I'm not able to transition away from Acrobat until this issue is fixed, and Acrobat is really giving us grief on a daily basis. Thanks.

Hi askelly,
We're looking at a September release, if all goes smoothly, but we don't have a specific date yet.

Re: Form field font display interoperability issue
This issue seems to be mostly fixed in the 323 build, but Acrobat still displays an incorrect font. I think the issue at this point is the name of the font. When I use IPXC_Document::CreateNewFont("Free 3 of 9"), the font name as displayed in Acrobat ends up being "Free3of9,Regular". I think Acrobat can't match that name to any fonts on the system, so it substitutes a different font. Is there a way to embed the font? Thanks!
