The PDF-XChange Printer has the capability of using printer profiles. These user profiles are stored in HKCU and as such are only available to the currently logged on user. This can cause confusion on multi-user systems, most noticeably Terminal Servers, when making profiles available to all users.
An understanding of how printers and their preferences work in Windows is helpful here. This document explains how the PDF-XChange Printer uses the registry and DEVMODE to store printing preferences:
